Palm Volley Elite Ladies Team League
Four drafted teams. Sixteen of the area's best. Every week your team battles another head-to-head — four games, every one worth a point, and a 2–2 split goes to a Dreambreaker.
Teams of 4 · head-to-head matchups
Sixteen players are drafted into four teams of four. Each week your team faces another in a four-game match: your #1 and #2 players take on theirs, your #3 and #4 do the same, then the lineups cross over — 1 & 3 together, 2 & 4 together. Every game is worth one team point, played to 11 with traditional scoring (win by 2). Tied 2–2 after four games? The match goes to a Dreambreaker — rotating singles, first team to 21, win by 2. Weeks 1–6 are the regular season; week 7 is playoff week — the top two teams play for the championship, and the other two play for third place.
How each week works
Before the matchup, your team slots each player into positions #1–#4. Lineups are blind — the other team can't see yours until theirs is locked in too.
Flex scheduling, team edition: the two matched-up teams pick a day, time, and court that work that week, then play the four-game match — plus the Dreambreaker if it's 2–2.
Any player in the matchup logs each game in their Palm Volley account right after it's played. The week closes Sunday at 11:00 PM sharp.
How standings work
Teams are ranked by match wins — every game you take earns your team a point toward the match, and the Dreambreaker settles a 2–2 split.
Tiebreakers: total game wins first, then point differential — so closing out a match strong matters even after it's decided. Standings after week 6 seed the week-7 playoffs.
Champions take gold.
Win the week-7 championship match and every player on the roster takes home a custom Palm Volley Gold medal.
Everything you need to know
Joining the player pool costs nothing. Four captains draft their rosters from the pool before the season; drafted players then complete their $75 registration to lock in their spot.
Start date is tentative — pool members get the confirmed draft night and start date by email. Weeks close Sunday 11:00 PM.
No fixed league night. Each week the two matched-up teams coordinate the day, time, and court that work for all eight players.
All four games use traditional (side-out) scoring to 11, win by 2. Dreambreakers are rotating singles to 21, win by 2.

Questions, answered
How do teams get formed?+
Through a draft. Join the player pool for free, and before the season four captains take turns drafting their rosters from it. Once you're drafted, you complete your $75 registration to lock in your roster spot — we'll email you the moment you're picked.
How do the numbered lineups work?+
Before each matchup your team assigns players to slots #1 through #4. Games 1 and 2 are your lines — 1 & 2 vs. their 1 & 2, then 3 & 4 vs. their 3 & 4 — and games 3 and 4 cross the lineups over (1 & 3 together, 2 & 4 together). Lineups are blind: neither team sees the other's until both are submitted, and then they lock.
What's a Dreambreaker?+
The tiebreaker when a match is split 2–2. It's rotating singles: all four players on each team take turns, one point at a time, and the first team to 21 (win by 2) takes the match.
Where are games played?+
Wherever works for your matchup — venue choice is part of the flex format. Each week the two teams coordinate the court along with the day and time.
Who logs the scores?+
Any player in the matchup can log games — right after each one, in their Palm Volley account. All scores (and any corrections) must be in before the week closes Sunday at 11:00 PM.
What if I can't play one week?+
Tell your team and message league admin as early as possible — we'll help arrange an approved substitute from the player pool, and their games count for your team. Substitutions are a last resort, once per player per season.
What if I need to drop out? Is there a refund?+
Joining the pool is free, so nothing is owed before the draft. After you've been drafted and paid: full refund any time before Week 1 lineups are announced, and a pro-rated credit toward a future season after play begins.
How do the playoffs work?+
The regular season runs weeks 1–6 and seeds the bracket. In week 7, the top two teams in the standings meet in the championship match, and the other two play for third place — same four-game format, blind lineups and Dreambreaker included.
