Our top-tier men's league, on your schedule. Each week you're grouped with three players at your level, you coordinate a time that works, and every point you win moves you up the standings.
Weekly groups of 4 · double round-robin
Every week you're assigned to a group of four. Your group plays a double round-robin — you partner with each player twice, for six games total, played to 11 (win by 1). The first two weeks are random groupings; from week three on, groups are seeded by the standings, so you're always playing people performing at your level.
Gold. Silver. Bronze.
The top three finishers in the standings after week 7 are awarded custom Palm Volley Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
How each week works
You'll get an automated email with your group and contact info, and league admin starts a group text to put everyone in touch.
Your group picks any day and time that week that works for all four of you. Then it's six games: two with each partner.
Any player in your group can log a game — right after each match, in your Palm Volley account. Agreeing on one person keeps the count straight. The week closes Wednesday at 11:00 PM sharp.
How standings work
Standings are ranked by percentage of points won — the points you've earned out of the total possible. Every point counts, even in a loss.
Example: games go to 11, and after six games your possible total is 66. Win all six and you're at 100%. Win five and score 8 in your only loss, and you're at 95.5%. There's no coasting and no dead games. Ties are broken by win rate, then head-to-head record between the tied players, then the largest margin of victory in a single game.

Everything you need to know
Weeks run Thursday through Wednesday. Each week closes Wednesday at 11:00 PM ET, and the next week's groups go out that night.
No fixed league night and no fixed venue. Your group of four coordinates the day, time, and court that work each week.
Covers the full 7-week season. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals await the top three finishers.

Weeks 1–2 are random draws, arranged so you meet as many different players as possible — week 2 avoids grouping you with anyone from your week 1 group wherever the roster allows. From week 3 on, groups are seeded by standings: top four together, next four, and so on.
Players supply game balls. The LT Pro 48 is the league's recommended ball — if nobody in your group has one, any ball everyone agrees on works.

Questions, answered
Where are games played?+
Wherever works for your group — venue choice is part of the flex format. Each week, your group of four picks the court along with the day and time.
What if my group can't find a time that works for me one week?+
Finding a substitute is the last resort — but if you truly can't play, message league admin as early as possible and we'll help find an approved sub if you don't have one. Any points your sub earns count on your behalf. Each player can use a substitution only once per season.
Who serves first, and when do we switch sides?+
You play each pairing twice: the team that didn't serve first in game one serves first in game two, and you switch sides of the court between the two games.
How are out calls and rule disputes handled?+
Games are self-officiated — out calls and rules questions are settled among the players on the court. League administration doesn't intervene.
Who logs the scores?+
Any player in the group can log a score — it isn't locked to one person. The smoothest approach is to agree on one person before you start and have them enter all six games, so nothing gets double-entered; if they drop out, anyone else can pick it up. All scores (and any corrections) must be in before the week closes Wednesday at 11:00 PM.
How do the standings decide my weekly group?+
Weeks 1 and 2 are random draws — there are no standings yet. Those two weeks are built for exposure: week 2 is drawn so you avoid a repeat groupmate from week 1 wherever the roster allows it. From week 3 on, groups are re-seeded every week by percentage of points won: the top four players form group one, the next four group two, and so on. Play well and you climb into tougher groups. Upcoming groups stay hidden until the current week closes.
What if I need to drop out? Is there a refund?+
Yes — full refund any time before Week 1 groups are announced. Just reach out through the contact page. After the season starts, we'll pro-rate a credit toward a future season.
